FEATURING: CHRISTOPHER PLUMMER IN CAESAR & CLEOPATRA
August 28-30, 2008
3 Day Tour

We have combined two great theatre shows, one of them starring Canada’s finest, Christopher Plummer in Caesar & Cleopatra, followed by fun and laughter at the country playhouse theatre in Drayton. We’ve added education with the back stage tour and outdoors enjoyment with the garden and countryside tour, then sweetened the mix with hearty Mennonite cooking and more. This is a delicious little get-a-way at the end of August you won’t want to miss.

DAY 1 CORNWALL • STRATFORD.
Our travels today take us west to Toronto, our lunch stop and then on to Stratford for our evening show at the Festival Theatre in the heart of Stratford. Christopher Plummer, one of the finest actors that Canada has ever produced will star in Bernard Shaws’ Classic work, Caesar & Cleopatra. We’ll stay in Stratford this evening. (D)
DAY 2 STRATFORD • ST JACOBS.
This morning the group will participate in an
informative backstage tour at the Festival Theatre followed by an Arthur Meighen Garden Tour. On our drive to St Jacobs, we’ll stop at a local quilt shop and then give you some time to check out the factory outlets right across from our hotel, The Best Western St Jacobs. We’ll sample the bounty of Mennonite cooking tonight at a local restaurant before a wee drive to Drayton for a playhouse show, Steel Magnolias this evening. For those that like to examine
the ironies and the funnier side of life, you will agree that tonight’s show is a celebration of
life and laughter. (B, L, D)
