DAY 1 CORNWALL • EDMONTON, ALBERTA. Our journey begins with a flight across this beloved country of ours to the capitol city of Edmonton, and our first overnight stay.

DAY 2 EDMONTON • FORT ST. JOHN. Our journey continues as we head north through part of this prairie province to Dawson Creek, and the beginning of the Alaska Highway. Our tour will stop at mile zero, the beginning of the world famous Alaska highway. (L)

DAY 33 FORT ST. JOHN • MUNCHO LAKE. The drive is breathtaking, the scenery just simply out of this world, and viewed right from the comfort of your coach. Our home tonight is the largest log structure in British Columbia, located on the shores of one of the prettiest lakes in the northern part of this province.

DAY 4 MUNCHO LAKE • WHITEHORSE. Laird Hot Springs will be our first stop today. The sign post forest at Watson Lake will also be a highlight of this day. Our home this evening will be in the capital city of Whitehorse. This evening will also be a highlight as we attend the famous Frantic Follies. (B)

DAY 5 WHITEHORSE • DAWSON CITY. Our tour starts to slow down now. We’ll follow the trail of the old prospectors, view the Five Finger Rapids and have lunch in the middle of nowhere. Tonight you’ll have the opportunity to visit Diamond Tooth Gertie’s Saloon. (Picnic L)

DAY 6 Tour of Dawson City and the Gold Fields today. You’ll even get the chance to pan for some of the yellow stuff as well. It’s a breathtaking view of Dawson and the Yukon River from the top of the mountain. This afternoon will be free for local sightseeing & shopping.

DAY 7 DAWSON • TOK. A short ferry ride this morning will take us across the Yukon River, and then its a fabulous drive over the top of the world highway. Coffee break will be in Chicken Alaska, and our overnight will be in Tok.

DAY 88 TOK • FAIRBANKS. Today were going to cruise part of the Tanana and Chena Rivers on board the River Boat Discovery. You’ll visit a wonderful interpretive site depicting Alaska of old as well as have a chance to see a dog sled demonstration. This evening enjoy a fabulous buffet B.B.Q. at the Alaska Salmon Bake. DAY 9 FAIRBANKS • ANCHORAGE. Our journey takes us through part of Denali National Park on the George Peak Highway which takes us past the highest peak in North America, Mt. McKinley. (B)

DAY 10 This will be a day, long to be remembered. It all starts with a drive along Turnagain Arm to Portage, then through the mountains to Whittier. A breathtaking 110 mile cruise will take us around the greatest sound in the world, Prince William Sound. This is one of Alaska’s greatest treasures. You’ll view 26 glaciers along with sea and wild life. ( L)

DAY 11 ANCHORAGE • TOK. This trip is a stunning drive as we make our way through the Chugach and Wrangell Mountain ranges where you’ll view Matanuska Glacier, a river of ice working its way through the forest. Sheep Mountain and Lion Head are just a few of the breathtaking sights of this day.(L)

DAY 12 TOK • WHITEHORSE. We head back into Canada today. Following the St Elias Mountain Range and Lake Kluane, will once again make this another fantastic day of travel and scenery.

DAY 13 Another great day of adventure as we head back into Alaska for one more visit to the community of Skagway, which dates back to the late eighteen hundreds and the scene of the Gold rush days. Our journey takes us through the White Pass on the White Pass Railway.

DAY 14 WHITEHORSE • DEASE LAKE. We start our southerly journey today by taking the alternate route known as the Cassiar Highway, and travel through the rugged country of the Cassiar Range on the western side of British Columbia. Our home this evening is an oasis in the middle of nowhere.

DAY 15 DEASE LAKE • SMITHERS. Our journey takes us along the remainder of the Cassiar Highway, stopping for lunch once again in the very heart of the wilderness at Bell Two. When this day is done you will have traveled two of the greatest highways in British Columbia. (L)

DAY 16 SMITHERS • HINTON. The Yellow Head highway will be our route this morning as we travel to Prince George, making our way through the heart of the Rockies. We’ll view such sights as Mt. Robson, the highest of the Rockies, along with Mt. Terry Fox.

DAY 17 HINTON • CALGARY. There really are no words that can adequately described the sights that you will be viewing this day as we travel the Jasper - Banff Parkway, classified as one of the greatest drives in North America. The Icefields Parkway, The Athabasca Glacier, tongue of the Columbia Icefield, Peyto Lake, Bow Glacier, and Sunwapta Pass are but a few of the remarkable sights that will be yours as we travel this great highway.

DAY 18 CALGARY • CORNWALL. This might bring the journey to an end, but oh the memories that will yours for the rest of your life......... Unbelievable!

DAY 1 OTTAWA • CALGARY. Boarding the plane in Ottawa, our flight quickly takes us across the miles to Calgary and the starting of this fantastic journey.

DAY 2 CALGARY • SPOKANE. Its part of the Canadian Rockies as we touch a bit of the Crowsnest Pass making our way through the Purcell Mountain Range and into the United States.

DAY 3 SPOKANE • PORTLAND, OREGON. Our tour continues due west this day following one of the great rivers of North America, The Columbia. The views traveling down through the Columbian Gorge are breathtaking at times.(B)

DAY 4 PORTLAND • BROOKINGS. Well this is part of what we came for, the Pacific Ocean and the coast of Oregon! Never in all your travels will you have seen sights like we will show you today. The mountains, rugged coast and the blue Pacific with its large monoliths rising majestically out of the ocean make this a day to remember.(B)

DAY 5 BROOKINGS • RHONERT PARK, CALIFORNIA. Everyday is different, everyday is breathtaking. Today, entering the top part of California offers us an opportunity we wish that everyone could have, ‘The Avenue of the Giants, The Redwoods.’ They will cause you to stand in awe. Only here in the northern part of California do you see these giants in all their splendor.

DAY 6 ROHNERT PARK. Our day starts with a drive through the beautiful Sonoma Valley with all its vineyards. We will have the opportunity of visiting two of the famous wineries of this area. No place in all of North America will you find vineyards that can compare with Sonoma. You’ll have the opportunity of tasting the fruit of the vine as well.(B)

DAY 7 RHONERT PARK • SAN FRANCISCO. It will be a short drive this morning as we cross the world famous Golden Gate Bridge into San Francisco. We’ll give you lots of time to explore Fisherman's wharf, and this afternoon you’ll tour San Francisco with a local guide.(B)

DAY 9 SAN FRANCISCO • SAN SIMEON. The coastline of Big Sur awaits you today and it’s impressive. Hearst Castle will be our destination this afternoon, and we’ll tour this former home of the Hearst Family.(B)

DAY 10 SAN SIMEON • LOS ANGELES. Danish village of Slovang will be our first stop today and we will have enough time to get in a couple hours of shopping. Following the Sierra Mountain Range, we head for the Los Angeles area for our two night stay.

DAY 12-13 LOS ANGELES • LAS VEGAS. Crossing the San Bernardino Mountains and the flat lands of the Mojave Desert, we head for Las Vegas for a two night stay.(B)

DAY 14 LAS VEGAS • FLAGSTAFF. Crossing the Hoover Dam will be a highlight today as we head into the high lands of the state of Arizona.

DAY 15 FLAGSTAFF • PAGE. No, you will not believe this! No one does until they stand on the edge and look down. The Grand Canyon! The colour along the south rim cannot be described in words, only in seeing! Not even your pictures as beautiful as they will be, can unfold the true beauty of this unbelievable sight. We’ll view the Imax film on the canyon before entering the state park, to help you experience this wonder of the world in all its fullness.(B)

DAY 16 PAGE • MOAB, UTAH. The scene today is one that has been viewed on the silver screen for years, Monument Valley. They’re called the mittens. No where else in the world will you view these breathtaking sculptors of creation.(B)

DAY 17 MOAB • SALT LAKE CITY. A visit this morning to the Arches National Park, will cause you to simply stand in awe. Our drive through the canyons to Salt Lake City, host city for the 2002 Olympic Winter Games, makes this one fantastic day of beautiful scenery.

DAY 19 SALT LAKE CITY • BUTT, MONTANA. We start our journey north this day crossing part of the state of Idaho and into part of Montana.

DAY 20 BUTT • CALGARY. We’re back on Canadian soil today. Its a leisurely drive today following the Veterans Memorial Highway through the city of Helena, the capital of Montana, Great Falls, the beginning of the mighty Missouri River, and then the prairie lands of Alberta.(B, D)

What a tour. Imagine being able to see the Canadian Rockies with all of its breathtaking scenery, and also to be able to attend the world famous Calgary Stampede. The scenery is simply breathtaking. There’s no such thing as a dull moment. Every mile, every valley, and every mountain top is different and has it’s own captured beauty.

DAY 1 CORNWALL • CALGARY, ALBERTA. Our journey begins with a flight that takes us across this wonderful land of ours to the city of Calgary, and our home for the next two nights.

DAY 2 City tour of Calgary today plus reserved seating at the World Famous Calgary Stampede. Chuck wagon races, as well as the outstanding Grand Stand Show with the grand finale fire works display, will be a highlight today.

DAY 3 CALGARY • CARDSTON. Were going to take you on a grand journey of the Rockies and our first stop is going to be the Waterton-Glacier National Peace Park, a joint effort between Canada and the USA. We’ll take a boat cruise on Lake Waterton and enjoy the breathtaking scenery of the mountains surrounding this area.

DAY 4 CARDSTON • BANFF, ALBERTA. It’s a short journey across the Stoney Indian Reserve and into the very heart of the Canadian Rockies. The quaint village of Banff, situated at the south end of the Bow Valley will be our home for the next three nights.

DAY 5 BOW VALLEY PARKWAY. The Columbia Icefields, and the Jasper Parkway will be our travel area today. Nowhere in all of North America will you ever come across scenery like what you will see today. You’ll visit Lake Louise, Moraine Lake, Sunwapta Pass, Peyto Lake and Bow Glacier, plus take a ride on the special Snow Cruiser across part of the ice fields.

DAY 6 It is a relaxing day today. This morning we’ll do a tour of the Banff area and give you the afternoon to explore this fascinating village on your own.

DAY 7 BANFF • KAMLOOPS, BRITISH COLUMBIA. It’s another great day. We head north along the Parkway once again , catching those spectacular views once more, then west into B.C. visiting Emerald Lake, Kicking Horse Pass and Yoho National Park. Our lunch stop today is going to be at the summit of Glacier National Park at Rogers Pass.

DAY 8 KAMLOOPS • VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA. We’ll travel the Fraser Canyon today to Hell’s Gate for our lunch stop. This afternoon, we cross the Fraser Delta to the West Coast City of Vancouver for our four night stay.

DAY 9 We’ll take you on a city tour of Vancouver this morning, with afternoon free to go exploring on your own.

DAY 10 It’s a short cruise this morning, as we sail across the Strait of Georgia to Vancouver Island. Butchart Gardens will be one of the highlights today, along with the Capital City of Victoria.

DAY 11 Sea to Sky highway will be our traveling area as we explore the community and ski resort area of Whistler, home of the 2010 winter Olympics

DAY 12 VANCOUVER • CORNWALL. Our flight brings us back to Ottawa where our coach will transport the group back to Cornwall.

DAY 1 CORNWALL • MUNROE, MICHIGAN. Were headed across the lower part of Ontario today as we make our way to the Windsor-Detroit border. Our home this evening is just outside of Detroit at Munroe.

DAY 2MUNROE • NASHVILLE, TENNESSEE. A great day ahead of us once again, as we head due south through the state of Ohio and into the Blue Grass state of Kentucky with all of its magnificent horse farms. This evening we’re going to attend our first show, Country Music U.S.A. at The Grand Ole Opry.

DAY 3 NASHVILLE • MEMPHIS. It will be a leisurely drive this morning. We head deeper into the south to the city of Memphis on the banks of the Mississippi River. The home of music king, Elvis Presley will be our main attraction. Apart from The White House, no other home receives as many visitors in a year as Graceland, the home of the late Elvis Presley.

DAY 4-8 BRANSON, MISSOURI. We’re going to travel through part of the Ozarks today to our home for the next five nights. Branson, where there are more theatre seats then that of Broadway. Branson is visited by millions who constantly come back time and time again for more great shows and friendly hospitality. During our five night stay we will attend seven shows, including Dolly Parton’s Dixie Stampede, and The Branson Bell Showboat, Presley’s Country Jubilee, the first country group in Branson, Shoji Tabucchi, top notch fiddler representing many different styles, The Haygoods, eight extremely multi-talented siblings, Rickey Bowen and Texas Mud playing country swing, and The Six. Who are The Six? Six brothers who use nothing but their voices to produce the most amazing vocal blends, accompanied by themselves with their own voices - no instruments!! You might relate their style to the famous Mills Brothers. If you have not seen enough shows, you will have time to see an optional extra one or two more.

DAY 9 BRANSON • TERRE HAUTE. We’re headed north today crossing back over the Mississippi River at St. Louis. We’ll travel across the state of Illinois and into Indiana for our overnight stay.

DAY 10 TERRE HAUTE • MUNROE, MICHIGAN. It’s a relaxing drive today as we head further north. Our overnight stay will be just south of Detroit.

DAY 11 HOMEWARD BOUND. Our tour will be stopping at the duty free shop before crossing back into Canada.

16 Day Tour

Two of Eastern Canada’s greatest destinations. No where else in all of our great nation will you find as much warmth among its people as you will on this tour. Come step back in history with us as we explore this beloved province. Stand on signal hill and view one of the greatest harbors and cities in all of North America. Travel the road to the Isles and view the cliffs of Twillingate. Sail across the strait of Belle Isle and step back a few hundred years to the era of the great whale hunts. Drive along the south arm of Gros Morne National Park. Visit the site of the landing of the Vikings. We have named but a few of the places you’ll have the opportunity of visiting.

DAY 1 CORNWALL • RIMOUSKI. It’s a beautiful drive along the south side of the St. Lawrence River to Riviere Du Loup, and our overnight stay in Rimouski. Take a stroll along the shore line of the mighty St. Lawrence River where it empties into the Gulf.

DAY 2 RIMOUSKI • MONCTON. It’s a full day with lots to see, starting off with one of the prettiest valleys of the Gaspe, the Matapedia. Lunch stop will be in the Miramichi area before continuing on to Moncton, and the famous Magnetic Hill.

DAY 3 MONCTON • SYDNEY. It’s one of those nice relaxing days today as we head for the Island of Cape Breton. We’ll travel the south shore of Bras D’Or Lake and stop at Rita’s Tea Room for an afternoon break.

DAY 4 SYDNEY • CORNER BROOK, NEWFOUNDLAND. It will be our first ferry crossing today as we cross the Cabot Strait and dock at Channel-Port aux Basques. Our Newfoundland adventure is about to begin. You’ll enjoy the warmth of these wonderful people. Travel all across this great land of ours, and no where will you meet friendlier people than Newfoundlander’s. Our hotel overlooks the breathtaking Humber Arm.

DAY 5 CORNER BROOK • ST. JOHN’S. We travel across the center of the province today past vast river valleys and green forests as we make our way to the capital of St. John’s, with it’s world famous harbour.

DAY 6 We head out to the Bay of Bulls for a Whale Watching cruise this morning. City tour of St John’s this afternoon, with a visit to Signal Hill. View the “narrows” and admire the architecture of old St. John’s along with the Basilica. We’ll also visit Cape Spear and one of the quaint fishing villages.

DAY 7 ST. JOHN’S • GANDER. We’re traveling back across the Avalon Peninsula to the town of Gander this morning. The breathtaking sights of Alexander Bay, Northwest Arm and Freshwater Bay are but a few of the inlets and water ways that we will be passing. This afternoon we head out to Twillingate along the Road to the Isles, with a stop at The Memorial of the Silent Soldier.

DAY 8 GANDER ª• PLUM POINT. Our journey brings us back to the west side of the island, making our way north along the coast line of the Gulf of St. Lawrence to our overnight stay at Plum Point.

DAY 9 PLUM POINT • L’ANSE-AU-CLAIR, LABRADOR. It is a short ferry ride (18 klm) this morning across the Strait of Belle-Isle and Iceburg Alley, to the coast of Labrador. We’ll visit Red Bay, a small community that speaks of the Basque Whaling industry that thrived here all along the coast over 400 years ago. A visit to the museum will connect you with ancient traditions that keep folklore and ancient crafts alive today. The museum will also reveal the griping story of the oil-laden San Juan that sank in 33 feet of water in Red Bay. How about some tangy bakeapples fashioned into a pie? Locals call them cloud berries -a lumpy looking golden fruit that grows in profusion in south Labrador. Lessons in sea lore, sea washed scenery, down home hospitality and good food will sum up this day beautifully.

DAY 10 L’ANSE-AU-CLAIR • PLUM POINT. Its back across the strait of Belle Isle, making a visit this afternoon to L’Anse-aux-Meadows, national historical site of the first European settlement in North America.

DAY 11 PLUM POINT • CORNER BROOK . The south arm of Gros Morne Park will be the highlight of this day as we visit the small villages and harbour’s of this UNESCO Heritage Site.

DAY 12 CORNER BROOK • PORT AUX BASQUES. A tour of the Humber Arm this morning will have us visiting such places as Bottle Cove, Blow Me Down and Frenchman’s Harbour. The scenery is simply out of this world. This afternoon it’s a short drive to Port aux Basques following the Long Range Mountains.

DAY 13 PORT AUX BASQUES • NORTH SYDNEY. Our morning crossing brings us back once again to the main land of Cape Breton and our overnight stay in Sydney.

DAY 14 SYDNEY • ST. JOHN. Were headed back to the province of New Brunswick. Guided tour of the Loyalist city of St. John later today.

DAY 15 ST. JOHN • GRAND FALLS. We’ll begin our day with a visit to St. Andrews by the Sea, stopping also at Gagnon’s Chocolate Factory in St Stephens. Fredericton, the City of Elms will be our lunch stop. We’ll travel along the St. John River Valley this afternoon to Grand Falls for our overnight stay.

DAY 16 GRAND FALLS • CORNWALL. Our luncheon stop today will be in Old Quebec City giving you a couple of hours to shop as well as enjoy the artists and musicians in the square near The Chateau Fontanac.

Here is your opportunity to explore some of the great highlights of Western United States. The striking moonlike landscape of the mysterious Badlands Park in South Dakota, has a history dating back to the prehistoric era. Truly, this is a great experience in itself. Mount Rushmore with its outstanding carvings of four of the former Presidents of United States, is an American shrine of democracy. No tour would be complete without a visit to Historic Deadwood and Boot Hill. Traveling further west we head into the state of Wyoming and Yellowstone National Park. It is a breathtaking drive as we cross over the Granite Pass to Cody. Old Faithful, the mammoth hot springs will be part of our exploration as we travel through one of America’s outstanding National Parks. Logan Pass and the Road to the Sun is a never to be forgotten experience as we head north west into the top part of Montana. We’ll visit Glacier National Park, also known as the Peace Park because it straddles the border of Montana and Alberta. The scenery on this one of a kind tour is simply outstanding. You’ll even have the opportunity to see a little of the Canadian Rockies.

DAY 1 CORNWALL • WINNIPEG Our flight takes us quickly across northern Ontario and into the beginning of the prairie lands of Western Canada.

DAY 2 WINNIPEG • SIOUX FALLS. Our journey takes us south along the Red River Valley and into the United States.

DAY 3 SIOUX FALLS • RAPID CITY, SOUTH DAKOTA. What a day this is going to be. First stop will be the Corn Palace one of those “you need to see to believe attractions”, then into the Bad lands of this amazing state. The landscape like that of the moon, along with the various colors of the land mass is fabulous.

DAY 4 RAPID CITY • MOUNT RUSHMORE will be one of our stops this morning, viewing  what is known as a major accomplishment of the 20th century. Crazy Horse will be another one of the sites that we will take you to. The Mountain Carving that we will visit is classified as the Worlds largest Mountain Carving. We’ll also visit the community of Deadwood for a real taste of the Old West.

DAY 5 RAPID CITY • CODY, WY. What a great day lies before us today. Granite Pass will be simply breathtaking as we make our way out of the Dakotas and into the State of Wyoming. Cody is nestled in the valley just below Yellowstone National Park.

DAY 6 CODY, WY. • BUTTE, MONTANA. This is the moment you have been waiting for. Every one wants to see Old Faithful, but this is just a part of Yellowstone. Mammoth Glacier, and the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone are just a few of the wonderful sights that you’ll have the opportunity to view.

DAY 7 BUTTE, MONTANA • GLACIER NATIONAL PARK, MONTANA. We travel across the land of the big Sky and head for the mountain range which is part of the Rockies for our overnight stay.

DAY 8 GLACIER NATIONAL PARK, MONTANA • CARDSTON, ALBERTA. We prepare for the journey of a life time this morning across Logan Pass, or as it is called by travelers, Going-To-The-Sun Road, or Road To The Sun. We leave our coach and board the red coaches that take us across this fabulous, scenic and breathtaking route. Our coach will drive around the base of the mountains to the eastern side. This 52 mile highway through Glacier National Park crosses the Continental Divide at Logan Pass, then traverses the towering Garden Wall.

DAY 9 CARDSTON, ALBERTA. Our day starts with a visit to the Carriage Museum. It is a must for all who pass through this area. The Province of Alberta has done a magnificent job in preserving a lot of the old style carriages of centuries long gone. A short drive brings us to the community of Canada’s National Peace Park, Waterton. We’ll cruise Waterton lake, and have lunch at The Prince of Whales Hotel which sits high on a hill overlooking the park with its breathtaking view.

DAY 10 CARDSTON • CALGARY. A nice leisurely drive across the prairie lands this morning as we make our way north to the City of Calgary, and our final overnight stay.

DAY 11 CALGARY • CORNWALL, ON. Our motor coach takes us to the airport this morning where we say good bye to our driver. The journey may be over, but oh the memories that will live on for ever as you tell people of your JOURNEY TO THE SUN.
