A more beautiful time in Penn Dutch Country you’ll not find. By June, the crops are in, gardens are up and trees and shrubs are flowering abundantly. DAY 2 This day is going to be different in that we are going to visit a part of our history that people seem to know little about. It’s the Irish Immigrants and their plight in striving to reach this new world. It is a short drive to Berthier-Sur-Mer and then a boat cruise to Grosse-Île. It was at this island that all immigrants were detained making sure that they were free from illness. Of the 98,000 who fled Europe during 1847, 90,000 of them were Irish. Dinner this evening will be in one of the city’s finest restaurant’s, L’Astral on top of the Concord Hotel, allowing you one of the greatest views of Québec city along with the country side.(B, D)

DAY 3 QUÉBEC CITY-CORNWALL. This morning our tour will be visiting Le Petit Champlain district of the old port of Quebec City for your last opportunity to do a little shopping and browsing around the old city, plus having lunch before making our journey back home.(B)
